Yep, no matter what you call it, Candlemas, St. Bridgid's Day, Imbolg or Ground Hog Day, it's a day worth celebrating (in the northern hemisphere anyway) only 6 more weeks of WINTER !!!!!
And of course, like usual, it's frigid and snow here in Michigan, and our spring usually doesn't start until late April, but a kitty can dream, can't they?
Mom said when she and Daddy go to the farmers market (it's inside, don't worry) that she was going to get some beeswax candles from the honey people (people... made of honey... kinda sticky don't you think?) Anyway, she said tonight we would light a bunch IF we kept our tails safe. We are good boys cause candles are pretty, unless you get to close... Anyway, if you want to know a little more, you can go to this neat garden site: http://www.gardenforth.com/2012_01_01_archive.html and read a little more about it.
