We lit our candle...

Please spread the message and make sure that your friends and family dedicate Thursday, September 26, 2013, to remembering the millions of orphan pets who lost their lives over the last year.
We lit ours to remember the kitties who were not given a chance at finding a forever home because they tested positive for Feline Leukemia.  Blessings to all you beautiful souls.

  3. One of the litters I fostered back in 2002 never had a chance because they tested positive for Felv and back then the shelter did not have the time or the resources to deal with it. I cried so hard for them..

  6. We light ours for all differently-abled kitties considered less adoptable like our deaf Maxwell....

  7. What a good idea. Like Maxwell, Faraday and Allie, we are thinking of all of the cats like our one-eyed Ashton who weren't "perfect" and were euthanized for lack of marketability without being given a chance.

  9. Thanks for providing the link so we could light our virtual candle. Mom no longer allows real ones in the house after a few incidents involving either clothing or fur. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  11. We lit our candles and listened as our mom talked to us about kitties who never had a chance. We sent out comforting purr vibes and hope they helped!

  13. It makes us so sad to think of all the pet animals who went to the Bridge because there were no homes for them, or because no one cared enough to help. We remember, every single day. Thank you for sharing this important message, sweet friends.
